Aston Bay Identifies New Near-Surface Copper Targets Through Integrated 3D Modelling at the Epworth Copper-Silver Project, Nunavut, Canada
Integrated 3D magnetic vector inversion and resistivity inversion modelling over a 126 square km area in the southern portion of the Epworth copper-silver-zinc-cobalt-gold project, 80 km southeast of Kugluktuk, Nunavut, identified several previously unrecognized near-surface targets where magnetic breaks coincide with conductive anomalies extending to less than 750 m below surface. The targets lie on trend with 2025 surface showings including Greenback (29.2% Cu, 217 g/t Ag). An additional 18.7 square km was staked, bringing Epworth to 1040.7 square km. Ground geophysics, mapping and sampling are planned for September, with a drill program anticipated in 2027.

Ryan VanEngen, MSc., has been nominated as an independent director of Aston Bay Holdings, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general and special meeting, while long-tenured director Jessie Liu-Ernsting will not stand for re-election as she takes on additional responsibilities with her employer. The Company also granted incentive stock options for 3,100,000 common shares to officers, directors, employees and consultants at an exercise price of $0.05 per share, with a five-year term vesting one-third at grant and one-third on each of the first two anniversaries.

The Pre-Feasibility Study for the Storm Copper Project on Somerset Island, Nunavut, operated by 80% joint venture partner American West Metals, is expected to be finalized in Q3 2026, with the mine permit application in final review at the Nunavut Planning Commission and regulatory approval targeted for 2028. The Nunavut Government will provide up to CA$100k for community liaison activities. Endeavor Trust Corporation replaced Computershare as transfer agent effective November 3, 2025, and director Gary O'Connor resigned.

Seventeen new base and precious metal showings were identified during the 2025 summer field program at the Epworth copper-silver project, 80 km southeast of Kugluktuk, Nunavut, with grab samples returning up to 29.2% Cu with 217 g/t Ag from chalcocite veinlets at the Greenback showing, 5.42% Cu with 1.89 g/t Au at Expert, 3.73% Cu with 2.08 g/t Au at Clastic, 10.1% Zn, 17.8% Pb and 766 ppm Co. Of 309 grab samples, 22 returned ≥1% Cu. Data will be integrated into an anticipated 2026 drill program.

Aston Bay and American West Metals Announce New >4-Kilometre Copper Anomaly Identified at the Storm Project, Nunavut, Canada
A regional soil geochemistry program at the Storm Project on Somerset Island, Nunavut has defined a 4.1km by 0.7km copper anomaly, named the Chevron Prospect, with a 2km core exceeding 250 ppm Cu; 1,957 samples were collected over eight areas. Drill hole SR25-012 at the Squall Prospect intersected 4.5m at 1.4% Cu and 2.6 g/t Ag from 158.5m, including 1.5m at 3.6% Cu. Copper sulphides were also intersected at Tornado. Aston Bay holds 20% of the joint venture with operator American West Metals.

Diamond drilling at the Cyclone Deposit on the Storm Copper Project, Somerset Island, Nunavut, returned 12.1m at 5.6% copper and 21 g/t silver from 70m in hole PFS-002, including 0.5m at 27.3% Cu and 80 g/t Ag from 76m, and 18.2m at 1.1% Cu from 30m in PFS-001, with intervals lying outside current pit designs. RC drilling at Cyclone, Chinook, Thunder and Cirrus also returned thick copper intervals. Remaining 2025 assays are pending, with a resource update and Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for early 2026. Aston Bay holds 20% of the joint venture with operator American West Metals.
