Three exploration properties totalling 7,393 hectares (73.9 sq. km) have been secured adjacent to Quimbaya Gold's Maitamac project in the Abejorral-Sonsón area of Antioquia, Colombia, acquired through map staking from the Colombian government. Application 508257 (630.9 ha) lies in the southernmost portion of Maitamac, neighbouring Prudent Minerals' Purima gold mine, about 2km east of the Cauca-Rom
