Initial results from a 2022 Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) airborne survey at the Wine nickel project in Manitoba, Canada identified a distinct VTEM response over the Wine Occurrence not seen in historical airborne surveys, plus numerous additional VTEM anomalies within the Wine Gabbro and several responses in the southern portion of the property within the Reed Lake Mafic-Ultramafic Complex. The survey collected 550 line-km on east-west lines at 100 m spacing. Anomalies are being geophysically modelled and prioritized for drill testing planned for the first quarter of 2023.

Assay results from the 2022 reconnaissance diamond drilling program at the Wine project in Manitoba include hole Wine-22-03, which cut 8.6 metres grading 1.01% Cu, 1.89% Ni (2.22% NiEq), 0.10% Co and 0.46 g/t PGM from 66.6 metres, plus 1.8 metres at 3.64% Cu, 0.33% Ni (1.53% NiEq) from 79.5 metres. Hole Wine-22-09 returned 7.0 metres at 1.57% Cu, 0.54% Ni (1.07% NiEq) and 0.24 g/t PGM from 21.0 metres. An airborne VTEM survey over the property is nearly compiled and will guide the next drill program.

The land position at the Pipy Project on the Thompson Nickel Belt in Manitoba has been doubled to over 24 km², with new Pipy North claims covering 11.84 km² and contiguous with Vale's property to the south. Pipy North covers stratigraphy over a folded strike length of 6 km, 28 km northeast of the Thompson T1 and T3 deposits, and has seen 1,720 metres of historical drilling in nine INCO holes (1967-1968) plus one Falconbridge hole in 2001. Initial work includes an airborne electromagnetic survey followed by diamond drilling.
