Quantum Critical Metals Confirms Gallium & Rubidium Are Hosted in Mica at Its Discovery Property, Québec, and Identifies New Beryllium and Cesium Targets
Laser mineral mapping of nine historical samples from the wholly owned Discovery Property in Québec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region shows gallium hosted mainly in mica (detected in all nine samples, tracking mica content in eight) and rubidium in potassium-bearing mica and feldspar (R² of 0.988), the same host mineral as at the NMX East Project. One sample returned a beryllium response about 21 times the median and another a cesium response about 65 times the median, neither yet confirmed by certified assay. The Company also granted 1,400,000 options to consultants at $0.10, expiring September 28, 2028.

An advanced mineral mapping program has begun on nine historical drill core and surface samples from the wholly owned Discovery Property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Québec, collected in 2018, to determine the mineral hosts and deportment of gallium, rubidium and cesium. Elemission Inc. of Montreal will conduct laser-based scanning, with GMY Consulting Inc. interpreting results, which may lead to certified multi-element assays and bench-scale flotation testing. All resolutions passed at the September 14, 2026 annual general meeting.

Surface grab sampling at the wholly owned Prophecy zinc prospect, about 240 km northwest of Fort St. John, British Columbia, returned zinc from 1,820 ppm to 22,000 ppm in eight of sixteen samples collected during a late-2025 airborne site visit, with lead from 63 ppm to 5,930 ppm, barium from 27 to 26,900 ppm and strontium from 58 to 5,910 ppm. The property comprises seven tenures totalling 4,349 hectares. Follow-up mapping, sampling and prospecting is being planned, focused on historical Minfile showings.

Metallurgical test work targeting rubidium recovery has begun at the NMX East Rubidium-Gallium-Cesium Project in Québec, with the University of British Columbia engaged to evaluate a hydrometallurgical flowsheet for rubidium, gallium and lithium extraction under David Dreisinger. Analytical work on a mica concentrate returned up to 3,260 g/t Rb in coarse fractions, with gallium up to 205 g/t, tantalum up to 51.4 g/t and lithium up to 816 g/t. Results will inform potential pilot-scale development.

Drilling will target muscovite-rich pegmatite dykes for gallium and rubidium, plus an ultramafic package in the south for nickel polymetallic mineralization, and is expected to run in multiple phases over the next two years. Quantum also granted 4,000,000 incentive stock options exercisable at $0.07 per share for three years.

The company is planning a pilot scale program in Québec to recover critical metals from muscovite mica, following late-2025 bench scale metallurgical testing on a muscovite concentrate from drill core that yielded recoveries of 93% gallium and 55% rubidium from mineral into solution at the NMX East project.
