WhiteRock Lithium Drills 79.3 m at 2.00% Li2O from Surface and Concludes the 2024 Summer Campaign
Drilling at the Spodumene Mountain target on the Sacred Banana property in Quebec returned 79.3 m of 2.00% Li2O and 134 ppm Ta2O5 from 1.7 m in hole ZS-24-003, 64.7 m of 2.14% Li2O and 336 ppm Ta2O5 in ZS-24-006, and 60.7 m of 1.89% Li2O in ZS-24-009. The 2024 campaign is complete at 29 NQ drill holes for approximately 7,870 m, with assays pending for 22 holes. Mapping identified three new pegmatite clusters, extending known occurrences to 2.4 km x 1.5 km.
Drill resultsWhiteRock Lithium confirms the exposure of lithium-rich pegmatite at Spodumene Mountain has been expanded by more than 1 kilometre to the west and 2 kilometres to the southwest. Grab samples from two new areas returned values up to 7.44% Li2O and 6.43% Li2O. The 100% owned Sacred Banana Property is in the James Bay Region of Quebec
Mapping at the 100% owned Sacred Banana Property in Quebec's James Bay Region expanded the exposure of lithium-rich pegmatite at Spodumene Mountain by more than 1 kilometre to the west and 2 kilometres to the southwest, with lithium-bearing pegmatites now mapped over a 2 km x 2 km area. Grab samples returned 7.44% Li2O at Isabella, 6.99% Li2O on the western extension and 6.43% Li2O at Marine. Fifty-four grab samples were taken between late-September and early-October 2023, averaging 3.23% Li2O at Spodumene Mountain, 2.05% at Isabella and 3.13% at Marine.
