About Toivo
Project Summary:The Toivo project was staked by Libra in July 2024 following a highly successful ~2-week prospecting program at the nearby SBC project in June 2024, which resulted in the discovery of 18 new spodumene occurrences with grab samples returning up to 6.64% Li2O and spodumene-bearing dykes up to 30m wide (Fig. 1). These results led to the formation of a strategic partnership with KoBold Metals on the SBC project. Strategically located along the Uchi Subprovince boundary in the Lake St. Joeseph greenstone belt and trending along strike of the Greenbush Lithium occurrence which has returned 15m @ 1.25% Li2O from a historic chip sample. Historical maps show the presence of pegmatite dykes on the property, but no exploration work focused on lithium has ever been documented. The property is located approximately 50km south of the full-service town of Pickle Lake, ON, and is only ~15km to the east of four-season Highway 599 (Fig. 1).
