Drilling Expands Mineralized Footprint at Penelope
Libra Energy Materials reports the remaining assay results from its maiden 22-hole auger drill program at its 100%-owned Penelope Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Results from holes PLE-AD-008 through PLE-AD-022 extend near-surface rare earth element enrichment up to approximately 700 m from the Elena target, with hole PLE-AD-021 returning 2.0 m at 1,421 ppm TREO from surface.

A maiden auger drilling program has begun at the 100%-owned Penelope Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, targeting the Elena and Gaia rare earth element targets, where earlier sampling returned up to 3,103 ppm total REEs. Holes are planned to depths of 5 to 20 metres to test REE enrichment within the regolith profile. Prior surface sampling returned 8,780 ppm Nb and 10,900 ppm Ta at Gaia, Elena rock

The 100%-owned Penelope Project in the Minas Gerais District, Brazil has been reclassified as a rare earth element, niobium, tantalum and gallium target and deprioritized as a lithium target, following historical data review and geochemical sampling. Results include 8,780 ppm Nb and 10,900 ppm Ta at the Gaia Pegmatite, rock panel chips averaging 1,555 ppm and 844 ppm total REEs at Elena, soil aver
