Our company’s foundation is the development of a new potential source of nickel, awaruite, which forms best in specific conditions such as at our Baptiste deposit. Awaruite possesses significant processing and downstream advantages over traditional sulphide and laterite nickel sources, presenting a tangible leap forward to produce large quantities of green nickel. We are conscious of the social and environmental issues connected to much of today’s nickel supply, and believe we have a collective duty to identify sources and processing strategies that allow us to supply the required amount of nickel that we need, while protecting the environment for future generations. Baptiste Nickel Project
The Baptiste Nickel Project is located in central British Columbia and has the potential to be a high-margin, long-life, large-scale, and low-carbon mine with unparalleled flexibility to produce either a high-grade concentrate (60% nickel) for direct feed into the stainless steel industry or further refining into battery-grade nickel sulphate, cobalt precipitate, and copper concentrate products for the battery material supply chain.

Mich Property, Yukon
In addition to Baptiste, FPX Nickel holds a portfolio of other projects in BC and the Yukon which also target awaruite nickel mineralization. All of FPX’s exploration properties cover significant bodies of serpentinized ultramafic rocks in a similar geological setting to that which host the Baptiste deposit. The Van target is located approximately 6 km north of Baptiste; the Mich project is located in the southern Yukon; and the Orca-Wale and Klow projects are located in northern British Columbi
Orca Wale Property
The Orca-Wale property covers 68 km2and is located 34 km east of Dease Lake in northern British Columbia. The Orca-Wale claim package is centred on a 20 km long package of Cache Creek Formation ultramafic rocks, which is a similar geological setting to the Baptiste deposit and consists of dominantly serpentinized ultramafic rocks.
