Final Change of Use of Soils approval for the pit expansion has been received, and waste stripping on the larger Veta Madre Plus pit is on track to start in early Q3 2026.
A four-phase, 12-month exploration program has begun across Valkea's 350 km² of landholdings in Finland's Central Lapland Greenstone Belt, targeting roughly 6,000 points of base-of-till drilling and 5,000 m to 10,000 m of diamond drilling on the best five to 10 targets, with diamond drilling to start in H2 2026 and the campaign running August to March. Twelve new targets have been identified at the Paana project. Funding for the 2026/2027 programs is secured, and new leadership includes former Rupert Resources Ikkari team members Thomas Credland, Dr Chris Bonson and Dr Charlotte Seabrook.
