The silver-denominated version of metal equivalence, common in polymetallic silver deposits.
A conversion metric used to express the value of polymetallic deposits in terms of silver ounces. AgEq calculations include silver content plus the value of other metals (gold, lead, zinc) converted to equivalent silver ounces at specified metal prices.
Most primary silver deposits carry meaningful lead, zinc or gold credits. AgEq lets those be expressed in one figure, but the silver-to-gold and silver-to-base-metal ratios chosen drive the result.
